Wade Phillips has another two years

Players with dallas cowboys jerseys will be coached by Wade Philipsfor the next two years. The two-year contract signs that Jerry Jones is just encouraged.

Phillips led the Cowboys won two NFC East titles in three years and two weeks ago got their first plyoff victory since 1996, which was the season after their last Super Bowl. Jones said they want to build on the foundation they have put in place over the last three years and he wants to take advantage of the continuity. Phillips did not care it's one year or two years. What he wants to do is just to bring the Cowboys to a new top.

This is the longest head coaching stint for Phillips. He had been in Buffalo for three seasons, then New Orleans and Atlanta.
